Eating Out

Jib Luff has a tremendous selection of eating locations all within 10 miles of the house. Because of it's location just outside Donegal Town you also have access to take aways, butchers and bakeries which will make your holiday more economical. However to truly enjoy your time here make sure you eat at Nancy's in Ardara, the Village Tavern in Mountcharles or the Smugglers Creek in Rosknowlagh..... our three favourites! Nancy's Seafood sign.

Nancy's Bar is a traditional Irish pub, with peat fires, toby jugs, and low woodsmoke stained ceilings. It regularily wins awards for the quality of it's seafood. They specialise in fishy soups, beautiful crab and or prawn sandwiches and their signature sandwich a Louis Armstrong must be tried ...It consists of smoked salmon,

Guinness chocolate cake and a pint of Guinness... the way to any man's heart! Irish soda bread and cheese. The Guiness is good too! As they only serve lunchtime food out of season possibly only at weekends, it can be best to telephone to check they are open. Telephone +353 (0)74 9541187 They also have regular traditional music nights, but again telephone them to find out dates and times etc. They have just put a new dessert onto the menu and it is yummy!! Guinness chocolate cake..... its so good we went twice in two days, and we don't really do desserts!! The Drive to Ardara is one of stunning scenery and the Nesbitt Arms Bistro Pub is located here too.
